The course provides a psycho-educational framework for understanding addictive/compulsive behaviours from a bio-psycho-social perspective. But its strength is in its ability to help the public understand and apply its powerful psycho-dynamic insights.

Based on 30 years of clinical experience, the course is trauma-informed and primarily uses CBT and ACT theories and strategies. Outcome measures and efficacy trials are ongoing, and results can be viewed here (coming soon).
